D3-The Lost People

$7.99

A level 204 puzzle dungeon for Shadowdark for those who seek forbidden knowledge & the people they employ to get it for them. Featuring an ancient insectoid people & their cruel experiments on others to find a means to communicate with gods.

Description

“Through me you go into a city of weeping; through me you go into eternal pain; through me you go amongst the lost people.”

In the recesses of the Shadowdark are ancient ruins of Scarabakki wonders. An ancient race so advanced, they are believed to have discovered the process of obtaining godhood. A new Synomonet entrance was discovered by refugees from a Drow city seeking freedom. They sold the information to archivists & mutagenists who seek the wisdom & knowledge contained within, not to mention the myriad of treasures contained within.

This requires the Shadowdark RPG to run.

This product includes no AI writing or imagery.
Made by Idle Hands, not ugly robots.

Content Advisory: The Scarabakki Synomonet is a puzzle like all ancient wisdom we have to unravel, but what makes it truly terrifying is the use of flesh, light, sound, & scent as a means of unlocking the treasures within. Body horror & mutilation is the outcome of many things in this adventure.

This is adventure module is an adventure for low-level Shadowdark characters that can last 2-4 sessions depending on character choices. It is packed with all the tools you need to run the adventure aside from monsters that are included in the core rulebook.

It includes:

2 new ancestries (dvergr [aka cold iron dwarves] & gnomus [cinder gnomes]);
11 new monsters (including a build your own spirit/yokai);
16 new magic items;
11 new spells;
over 60+ pages of new content;
detailed maps; and
a coding system for quick reference (also tabs).
Below, you’ll find a link to Erik Frankhouse solo playing the adventure. A few things changed since then (like I made a tracking sheet & simplified the leyline burst mechanics). It shows warts and all. See if it’s for you. I hope you enjoy and thanks to Erik for solo-playing the game on stream.

If you enjoy this adventure, maybe you should consider one of the other adventures in the series.
