My setting is set on the planet Gloam. A world in its twilight as it dies. The world itself has multiple continents.

- Fjallheimr
- Autreis
- Otrcana Ostrva
- The Maw
- Fleur-Diamortia
- Koku-Gott
- Braka
- Gottania
- Quz’tl Cha’tl
- Horux
- Polarra Nord
- Polarra Synd
As you can tell, there’s a cultural reference built into the naming of each continent. But what about Kumonosu?

In the Eastern Gates region of Koku-Gott, there’s a city in the Gray Wastes called Kumonosu. It’s a drow city on the surface. Each city in the Gray Wastes is built over an entrance to the dark, depths of the Dirt (okay, I don’t really have a good name for the region of the underground where the drow dwell, I’m still working on it).
The current campaign is set in the Lichwoods, a forest where many enter, but few if any leave. Where the forest churns & maps are unreliable. Or in constant need of updating. This is basically the basis for my world that I started with. And in my fascination with gothic literature & Japanese mythology and you have Gloam.
